1. Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Helping Hub, a platform managed by the Bermuda Health Council ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using Helping Hub, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1.1 Use of the Platform
Helping Hub is an informational platform intended to help the public find licensed health and social care professionals, businesses, and programmes across Bermuda. We strive to maintain accurate, timely listings, but cannot guarantee completeness or uninterrupted service.
1.2 User Registration
Users may browse publicly available listings. Registered users can save providers or access personalized features. You agree to keep your login information secure and accurate.
1.3 Directory Listings & Profile Management
Only verified individuals, businesses, and programmes may be listed. Registration is required to manage a profile. Registered entities are responsible for maintaining up-to-date, accurate information. We reserve the right to edit, approve, suspend, or remove listings at our discretion to ensure quality and compliance.
1.4 AI Search Functionality
The platform includes AI-powered search tools. These tools offer guidance but are not a substitute for professional advice. Users should exercise discretion.
1.5 Intellectual Property
Platform content is the property of the Bermuda Health Council. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.
1.6 Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages related to the use or inability to use the platform.
1.7 Governing Law
These terms are governed by Bermuda law. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Bermuda's courts.
2. Privacy Policy

Helping Hub adheres to the Personal Information Protection Act 2016 (PIPA).
2.1 Information Collected
We collect the following:
- User account data (e.g., name, email)
- Listing data from professionals, businesses, and programmes (e.g., services, contact info)
- Platform usage and search behavior
- Cookies and device data
2.2 Purpose of Use
To:
- Operate the platform
- Verify listings
- Monitor system performance
- Improve user experience
2.3 Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. Data may be shared with authorized service providers under confidentiality agreements and with regulatory bodies as required by law.
2.4 Rights Under PIPA
Users may:
- Request access or correction
- Withdraw consent
- File a complaint with the Privacy Commissioner
2.5 Data Security
We implement encryption, secure authentication, and role-based access. However, no system is entirely risk-free.
2.6 Retention
Data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill stated purposes or meet legal obligations.
3. Profile Owner Agreement
As a registered entity listed on Helping Hub, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful information
- Keep your profile updated
- Respond promptly to verification requests
- Maintain professional conduct in communications associated with the platform
You acknowledge that your listing is subject to review, verification, and potential removal if it is found to violate platform terms or misrepresent your services.
4. Code of Conduct for Listed Entities
All listed individuals, businesses, and programmes must:
- Uphold ethical and professional standards consistent with Bermuda law and licensure
- Avoid false or misleading claims
- Notify the Health Council if your services are discontinued or change materially
- Refrain from discriminatory or harmful language in public-facing content
- Cooperate with the Health Council on any investigations or inquiries related to your listing
Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in profile suspension or permanent removal from Helping Hub.
